Among the many bird species found here we have local Pied Curawongs. They are a daily bird here and their call always reminds us of when we first moved here.

Now the the Container Wall had been saved and strengthened… we had a hole to fill.
One of the original timber retaining walls near the Containers had started to fail when we purchased the property.
But now it is actually falling down… Time for a fix.
We had collected some Lomandra confertifolia seeds from our local Lomandras and we had had a good result from germinating them in a large tray.
The best photos we took in May 2019
Another exotic tree got the chop today! This one was on the right of the driveway and we believe it was is/was a Brazilian Cherry or similar tree.
Either way its gone….
Bees and Water! A dangerous subject…. but an important one.< br />< br />
Bees are a vital part of the world environment and here at Arborlon they play an important and indeispensible job across the gardens and the forest.
We have a big White Cedar(Melia azedarach) on the Plot level and it has been a PITA since we got here. Beautiful tree, but it does not work where it is.
So it’s for the chop!
Today we built another gabion water habitat. This is now our 8th Water habitat we have across the Property.
