It was now the morning after Cyclone Debbie came to visit.
So we woke this morning not knowing what we were going to find both on our property and on the road. We ventured out about 6am and found catastrophic damage to the property at the end of the South Path.
The entire North side of “Dave’s gully” had washed away.
Water was still running in the gully, and a look across to the South side of “Shionagh’s Gully” showed us even more devastation.
Large sections of the creek bed had also been lost through the entire South Gully.
