Tidying up the Shade Cloth – 9th March 2019

The shade house is almost complete and just needs the back of the shade cloth tidied up and secured.

Because of the steepness of the slope at the back of the shade house, there is nowhere to safely stand a ladder to secure the back edge of the shade cloth.

So we had to improvise and try to reach as many bits of the shade cloth as possible.

Improvising included.. tying the step ladder to the shade house beams and then leaning out and hanging on for dear life!

So we did the best job we could do and will have to wait till we have greater access.

Meanwhile the shade house is up, and the shade is good.
