The Gutter is on! – 5th November 2019
This was a first-time for us with the gutters.
I have fixed them, cut them and broken gutters before, but I had never made one from scratch.

The shade house is almost complete and just needs the back of the shade cloth tidied up and secured.
With the Nursery stairs in place we can fix and level off the top level of the Nursery.
A little fill and a little mulch tidied things up perfectly.
We have acquired three 5000 litres water tanks for the Nursery and today we connected those tanks in preparation for the addition of pump and solar power.
With the base for the Nursery IBCs fixed we can now (re)install the second IBC again, and fill them with water.
Today our new shipping container office arrived.
We only bought it 2 days ago, but as we bought it at auction we had to ‘take possession’ and move it as soon as possible.
Today we took a trip up to Brisbane to find/collect/purchase some new trees and plants. We are now planting the South Gully and endeavouring to restore the rainforest that was previously there.
We also have a number of other places that need planting, including the roadside and parts of the home hill. These areas are part of our battle against erosion.
