Now the the Container Wall had been saved and strengthened… we had a hole to fill.
Because of the failure of the wall, and the earth behind it, we decide not to plant into the space.
So we just added a “top” to the wall. This would give us a little extra flat storage space just outside the containers.
This would also help hide our ugly looking repair.
We grabbed some old timber paling cutoffs and put together a table of sorts, that also helped hold the wall together.
The ‘hole’ was left deliberately so that we could see under the table and also to allow any debris, water etc to escape.
The table is now used as a shaded spot for plants that need a little TLC and it works perfectly as a handy table just outside the container.
Job done!
