Eastern Whipbird

Name: Eastern Whipbird

Scientific Name: Psophodes olivaceus

First Seen/Identified: September 2016 – (Heard many times before)

Notes: There are at least three Eastern Whipbirds close to the house. One to the North deep in the forest. One to the West and one that lives in the bush of the South Gully.

We saw one very close to the house(see images below) but he kept himself well hidden.
