Work is still ongoing along large parts of Lamington National Park Rd, and the DTMR and their contractors are about to start repairs on a number of sites close to our property.
Unfortunately this means we will have to pull-up some of our road plantings that are in the repair areas.
After clearing and widening the Dragonfuit level with the excavator we needed to plant out the new bank we had created at the eastern end of the level.
The bank was made with excess mountain soil from the excavation.
The Fire Deck has been finished for a while now, and we are working on the surrounding gardens.
As always these gardens will feature local and non-indigenous native plants and establishing plants that can survive the blistering heat that this area gets in Summer.
Having already completed the Fire Deck South Garden it was time for the North Garden to take shape.
